Art Deco ceiling light ideal for a bedroom or small office. With 3 sockets will give off loads of light. Vintage original France 1930s.
The frosted white pressed glass shades are known to be a model by DEGUE; this model is never signed. Paul GILLES used this model in many of his lights which would explain why many listings attribute this glass to him. The shades have a stylish abstract flower detail repeated around the glass and are highlighted by an undulating linear motif. Their size and shape complement the light and fixture very well. Popular because they look great lit. No chips or cracks.
Cast bronze and brass fixture. Vintage French 1930s design. Bronze casting is thick and is a fine example of quality French craftsmanship.
