Art Deco lamp 39cm tall (15,5”). Superb glass shade by DEGUE on a quality bronze base. Vintage original France 1930s.
The frosted white pressed glass shade is signed DEGUE. It is one of his rare and sought after models with a stunning blend of floral blobs of glass sitting on a cone shape with linear and geometric motifs. The design gives off a wonderful effect when lit (see pictures). No chips or cracks.
The vintage nickel plated bronze base is in excellent condition. Its shape complements the glass shade and its weight and wide round bottom provide a stable support for the lamp.
Furnished with new wiring and a switch for 220v or 110v.
