Pair of Art Deco style wall sconces, useful size, versatile uses, vintage original c 1980s Item ref 2725A

€180.00

Pair of Art Deco style wall sconces. Very attractive design can be used on a vanity on each side of the mirror or a bathroom (respecting norms). Vintage originals probably 1980s.

Beautiful tulip shades. What you see are not cracks they are there due to the manufacturing method used. This is my theory on the craftsmanship used. Initially the artist starts with opaque white glass 5mm thick flat in the shape of 3 petals. Through a special technique the petals are compressed together to form a tulip shape but the petal glass does not fuse together, which is the line (crack like) you see in the pictures. I believe this to be a MURANO Italy technique. The tulip shades are vintage late 20th century.

Bronze fixtures are vintage French. Stylish wall plate design. Fixtures hang on the wall with an L shaped screw in the wall (provided).

Rewired for 220v or 110v

21cm high x 10cm wide x 19cm deep
